Overview

The overview shows several reports. At the top of the page, a navigation menu and the totals of the time recordings in the currently selected period are displayed. Some of the reports do not work at all or not as intended if the Work-Hour Template and Base Calendar are not set in the Resource Person Defaults of the resource. All reports are calculated per resource.

A navigation menu is displayed at the top of the page. In this menu you can navigate to the current period with Today. With the arrows left and right it is possible to switch to the previous or next period. Below the navigation menu the start and end date of the selected period is displayed. Using the calendar next to the date it is possible to jump to another period. In the selection next to the calendar the period (week, month or year) can be selected.
On the right side the sum of the duration of the time recordings and the target working time (capacity) is displayed. The sum of the target and actual times recordings is calculated for the selected period length.

Time Recordings

If the period Week is selected, the target and actual working time per day is displayed. Non-working days (e.g. weekends and holidays) are only displayed if there is a time recordings for these days. The actual working time is calculated from the sum of the duration of the time recordings of the respective day. Clicking on the target or actual working time opens the time recordings for the corresponding day. The PLUS button below the graph can be used to create a new time recordings for this day.
If the period Month is selected, the target and actual working time per calendar week is displayed. Also, calendar weeks that are only partly in one month are displayed. The complete calendar week is taken into account and not only the part in the respective month.
If the period Year is selected, the target and actual working time per month is displayed.

Projects

The five Projects (Jobs in Business Central) for which the user has recorded most of its time (sum of duration) are displayed in the evaluation. The total duration is calculated for the selected period. If time recordings have been created for more than five projects or if no project is specified in the time recordings, they will be summed up and displayed in an extra item Others. Others will always displayed last. The duration is used as the basis for the calculation.

Billable / Non-Billable Duration

The sum of billable and non-billable time recordings of the user is displayed in this evaluation. Non-billable time recordings are categorized - depending on the billing type or Non-billable Reason - as Internal, Good Will, and Warranty. A time recording is partially or completely non-billable if the duration is greater than the billable duration. The difference between the duration and the billable duration is the non-billable duration and is shown with the specified Non-billable Reason in the evaluation. The Billable duration of the time recording will be reported as Billable.
The billable duration can be greater than the duration. Besides manual interventions by the user, the billable duration can be increased by rounding or surcharges. Accordingly, the sum of the parts in the Billable / Non Billable Duration evaluation can be greater than the duration of the time recordings (top right).

Activities

The ten Activities for which the user has recorded most of its time (sum of duration) are displayed in the evaluation. Activities with the same description are summed up. Different Time & Travel models are irrelevant for the calculation. The total duration is calculated for the selected period. If time recordings have been created for more than ten Activities or if no Activity is specified in the time recordings, they will be summed up and displayed in an extra item Others. Others will always displayed last. The duration is used as the basis for the calculation.
