📄️ Setup general
For the release of Time Recordings and their subsequent posting, it is necessary to indicate in the User Setup via the Uses DYCE Job Billing field which users are allowed to use Job Billing (see Activation of users).
📄️ Job Types
The Job Types page defines the different types of projects. They are used for categorization and can be used as filters - e.g. also for Job Billing. Examples can be implementation, maintenance or upgrade projects or internal projects.
📄️ Time & Travel Models
Services can be invoiced - even without a Time & Travel Model being set up and stored in the Jobs. However, the Time & Travel Model offers some features that should be considered when deciding whether to use it:
📄️ Job Queue
For recurring tasks, in Business Central the Job Queue is used. For details on how the Job Queue works and how to configure it, please refer to this documentation.
📄️ Permissions
This chapter takes a deeper look at the supplied permission sets. To check the permissions contained in the permission sets in detail, please open the Permission Sets page (Alt+Q) and then call the Permissions action.
