DYCE Project & Resource Planning enables the creation of detailed project plans and the effective allocation of resources. It ensures optimal management of employee capacities and skills throughout the project lifecycle. It addresses two variants of planning, high-level, capacity based planning (project plans) and detailed planning for short lived tasks (work orders).
It is designed to help businesses manage their projects more efficiently by providing tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress. It does this by answering these fundamental questions:
- When can we start this new project and which resources with a certain skill are available?
- When the project is on its way, how is the progress? Are you even making progress and what does the budget look like?
- What are the tasks and dependencies between the tasks?
- How long will the project take to be completed?
- When will a team have capacities to take on another project?
- What tasks are not yet assigned to a resource? Does a resource have time to take on this task on a specific date?
