DYCE Project Billing is updated at frequent intervals and is always compatible with current and upcoming versions of Business Central. Relevant changes are described individually in the Release Notes. To filter for a specific app, the corresponding tag can be used. It is also possible to subscribe to information on updates as an RSS feed.

The aim of project invoicing with DYCE Project Billing is to be able to invoice services and items (later also travel expenses) for a customer project in one step via Sales Orders and to control the project's budget.

📄️ Time Recording
Time Recordings can be easily created through DYCE Project Billing. However, the app is not designed to create all Time Recordings directly in the app. Rather, the app is optimized for releasing, posting and billing Time Recordings.
📄️ Project Billing
Project Billing in DYCE streamlines invoicing for professional services and projects by enabling multi-level control and posting of time recordings across project tasks, with options for bulk or individual approvals and advanced functions like quantity transfers and time splits. After release, time recordings are posted, linked sales orders prepared for invoicing, and invoices generated, with cancellation also supported from the same interface.
📄️ Posting Documents
Invoices and Credit Memos are called Posting Documents because these documents can be posted. When creating these documents via Project Billing, the system recognizes whether an invoice or a credit memo is to be created based on the underlying Project Planning Lines. This applies to Project Tasks both with and without a link to a Sales Order.
📄️ Cancellation
Time Recordings that have already been posted cannot be edited. In order to correct a posted Time Recording, it has to be cancelled. In the case of cancelling a Time Recording, a distinction must be made as to whether the related Project Planning Line has already been invoiced. If it has been invoiced, the cancellation can only be performed in the posted Sales Invoice and a Credit Memo must be created.
📄️ Bundles
Bundles can be used in Sales Quotes and in Sales Orders. They are a combination of individual components into a standalone product. In addition, formatting can be used to control what content and how that content is printed on print documents. Bundles and formatting are part of the DYCE Easy Bundle Seller app, which is included with DYCE Project Billing.
📄️ Surcharges
A surcharge is an additional fee levied for work performed outside of regular business hours, such as for work on evenings, nights, or holidays. This surcharge can be invoiced to the customer. It is important to note that the duration for which a surcharge is calculated (the surcharge duration) is independent of the actual time worked (attendance), as it results from a combination of the duration of the time recording and the corresponding percentage from the surcharge model.

The use of DYCE Project Billing is billed based on usage. In addition, a basic fee is charged once a month. It is possible to test the full range of functions for an unlimited period of time in advance. However, this only applies to sandbox environments for Business Central. Use in a productive environment automatically results in billing. Please refer to the DYCE Project Billing website for current pricing. Regardless of this, the pricing is based on the claim to make it as fair as possible. This includes, above all, only charging for the actual benefit or added value.
