Fixes and Features for Sync App and Time Tracking

DYCE Sync 2026.1.1.0

Features

  • Synchronize Work Order Status.
  • Synchronize enabled product features (Time Tracking and Project & Resource Planning) to BC.
  • Added Retry All action to incoming messages. This action processes all messages in error state with one click.
  • Starting a full synchronization now checks whether a previous full synchronization is still pending and informs the user to wait until that is processed.

Fixes

  • Changed data retrieval logic to be more tolerant of missing records.
  • Removed the toggle Continuous from the setup page. Recursively starting new sessions from existing sessions is not supported in BC, so we had to remove this feature. The synchronization will work fine without it, but there can be pauses of less than a minute if the BC job queue has to start a new sync session.

DYCE Time Tracking

Features

  • Sync the status of work items from Jira & Azure DevOps to Work Orders.
  • Provide users with a helpful error message if the surcharge model requires start and end times but a time recording was created without them.
  • New admin section Feature Management allows admins to select which application areas (Time Tracking and Project & Resource Planning) should be enabled (per company).
  • Small usability improvements in the user administration page:
    • The Add Users dialog supports multiple consecutive searches and remembers selected users from previous searches.
    • The Resource lookup field now sorts resources alphabetically by their name.
  • The description of new time recordings is no longer prefilled when adding time recordings in the calendar.

Fixes

  • Fixed an error when calculating surcharges for time recordings without a resource.
  • Fixed an issue where time recordings without a date broke the Incomplete Time Recordings page.
