Permissions

This section deals with the permission sets supplied. To review the permissions included in the permission sets in detail, please open the Permission Sets page (Alt+Q) and then call the Permissions action.

DYCE Project Billing​

The following three permission sets are included with the app:

  • DYCEJOBBILLINGALL (DYCE Project Billing Read)
    This permission set can be assigned to all users. It contains read-only permissions to app-specific data.
    The same permissions extend the standard permission set D365 READ (Dyn. 365 Read access all).
  • DYCEJOBBILLINGUSER (DYCE Project Billing Edit)
    This permission set is for all users working with Projects, Time Recordings, and Time & Travel Models. In addition, Project Billing can be used. However, editing Resource Defaults, Work Time Models and Project Types is not intended with these permissions.
    The same permissions extend the standard permission set D365 BASIC (Dynamics 365 Basic access).
  • DYCEJOBBILLINGADMIN (DYCE Project Billing Admin)
    This permission set is designed for administrators and power users who should additionally be able to create and delete Resource Defaults, Work Time Models, and Project Types.
    The same permissions extend the standard permission set D365 SETUP (Dyn. 365 Company data setup).

The permission sets build on each other and contain the respective underlying set.

More DYCE Apps​

Along with DYCE Project Billing, the apps DYCE Essentials and DYCE Easy Bundle Seller are installed. This will provide cross-app functionality such as Bundles, a Print Preview or the Report Configurations.

Three permission sets are included with the app:

  • DYCEESSENTIALSALL (DYCE Essentials All)
    This permission set can be assigned to all users. It includes read-only permissions to app-specific data.
  • DYCEESSENTIALSUSER (DYCE Essentials Users)
    This permission set is for all users working with Bundles.
  • DYCEESSENTIALSADMIN (DYCE Essentials Admin)
    This permission set is designed for administrators and power users who should additionally be able to create, customize and delete Report Configurations.
