📄️ Items
In addition to retail items, services are also mapped as items in DYCE Job Billing. These can be offered and billed via sales documents. People perform these services and report their times for this purpose. Subsequently, Job Billing is used to check and approve these time recordings and finally to invoice the services provided.
📄️ Jobs
In DYCE Job Billing Jobs are used to invoice services. In order for services to be provided and invoiced, it is mandatory that at least one Job for each customer is created in Business Central.
📄️ Job Tasks and Planning Lines
In DYCE Job Billing, Job Tasks are used to record, schedule, record times and invoice all types of services.
📄️ Resources
People (employees and external service providers) are created as resources. They provide the services. Proof of completed services is provided in the form of Time Recordings, created by the resources for their respective tasks. These Time Recordings are checked and released via DYCE Job Billing (page Job Billing). Subsequently, the services completed are invoiced.
📄️ Customers & Contacts
Contacts are linked to Customers (and/or Vendors) via so-called Business Relations. For details on how business relations work, please refer to this part of the Microsoft documentation.
