Fixes and Features for Sync App and Time Tracking

DYCE Time Tracking

Features

  • Multiple time recordings can now be created from a single calendar event. Hovering over a calendar event highlights all linked time recordings and vice versa, regardless of the day. The incomplete time recordings counter now considers linked time recordings on any day.
  • The billable duration field is now editable when no surcharge applies, and the disable surcharges toggle is only available when surcharges are applicable. The surcharge indicator now reflects whether surcharges are applied or not.
  • Time recordings created from templates or task assignments no longer require all fields to be filled in advance. Missing information can now be completed directly in the time recording form.
  • Connect and Business Central now exchange version information to prepare for future upgrades.
  • The budget bar now consistently uses the same unit (hours or days), derived from the total budget value.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Entra ID user list timing out for tenants with a large number of users. The list now uses server-side search and pagination.
  • When a resource is deleted in BC, Connect now either deletes dependent data or drops the connection to the resource so the deletion succeeds.
  • Fixed onboarding being unnecessarily delayed for up to one hour after instance provisioning completed.
  • Fixed Work Order deletion failing when time recording templates referenced the Work Order.
  • The error code shown on app errors now matches the error tracking system, allowing support to locate the issue more easily.
  • Fixed line feeds not being preserved in the description field of the Dynamic time tracking form.
  • Attendances can now be created in any order and no longer require chronological entry.

DYCE Sync

Features

  • Added caching and rate-limit handling (HTTP 429) for the Jira webhook handler to prevent cascading errors during Jira API rate limiting.
