Fixes and Features for Time Tracking

DYCE Time Tracking​

Features​

  • A new Contract non-billable reason is now available for time recordings and Time & Travel Model lines, alongside Internal, Warranty, and Good Will. It mirrors the Business Central reason and is shown in the Project Billing and statistics views.

Fixes​

  • On Work Orders with an Open budget type, the Customer and Project can now be set, cleared, or changed at any time, even when time recordings already exist on the Work Order or its Sub-Work Orders. The change propagates to all Sub-Work Orders, and intermediate states where lines still reference the previous project no longer raise an error.
  • Selecting a time recording template whose activity is no longer available in the project now shows a clear message ("The selected activity is not available in the project. Please select a valid activity.") instead of a technical backend error.
  • Loading the time recording list is now faster and more reliable.

DYCE Time Tracking for Jira (Forge app)​

Features​

  • A link to the Work Order card in Business Central is now shown at the top of the Work Order budget dialog, making it easy to open the Work Order directly in BC for related data or actions that are not available in the app.
  • A new Set Billing Work Order Jira automation action assigns a Billing Work Order explicitly by referencing another Jira work item, for cases where the correct Billing Work Order lives in another space and cannot be inferred automatically.
  • Work logs can now be synchronized across many work items at once from a JQL-based selection. This is available in the per-space app settings.
  • The space type Customer Service is now supported for time tracking, with the same features and behavior as the existing Service Management space type.
  • Organization assignment settings show each organization with its id and as a link for easier navigation.

Fixes​

  • Additional work item fields (Original Estimate, Remaining Estimate, Sprint, Sub-Type, Status, and Link) are now synchronized to the Work Order.
  • Fixed DYCE mapping on newly created spaces being blocked with a "This area is restricted to DYCE administrators only!" message for users who are Jira space administrators. Access to the app settings now follows Jira space administration. (SD-426)
